aiGUST is a fintech startup, based in Leuven. We are founded and backed by 6 major players in the Belgian accountancy and tax market. Our clients are accountancy and tax firms in Belgium. 

We are building a multi-tenant SaaS platform that provides accountants with benchmarks, predictive analytics, statistics and visual insights to help them give better advice to their SME customers. We believe data are the foundation to better understand and manage companies and that AI can assist accountants in providing more accurate advise with less effort. By creating a large data community we believe we can even go a step further.

About the job

Data analytics is at the core of our product. As a data scientist / AI engineer you will explore the data to find valuable insights and represent these findings in a user-friendly way. You will be applying different algorithms and tuning the data structures as needed. All this, to help us make a real impact on the performance of Belgian SME companies.

As a data scientist at ai-Gust, you will be:

  • Applying and tuning machine learning algorithms
  • Feature engineering
  • Managing ML Operations
  • Assessing and reporting on data quality
  • Performing exploratory data analysis
  • Visualising data

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a master degree or equivalent by experience with a background in computer science, data science, engineering…  You should have strong math skills, especially in statistics. We like creative, hands-on people with a curious nature!
